Fire breaks out near Musée d’Orsay in Paris (+VIDEO)

The fire broke out close to the Musée d’Orsay in central Paris on Sunday evening, according to local reports.

The footage showed the fire burning in Paris’ 7th arrondissement, near the historic Hotel Beauharnais, located a block from the museum. Firefighters were in the area battling the blaze, according to local media.

The fire was "considered extinguished" shortly after 10 p.m. (21:00 GMT on Sunday), a spokesperson for the Paris fire department said as quoted by the French La Depeche newspaper.
