An American Military Nightlight in Iraq?

I'm convinced that Maliki considers Sadr and his own military greater threats than Iran--that he is convinced he can manage the Iranian problem. So ultimately it doesn't matter how hard the Obama administration pushes for a continued U.S. troop presence because Maliki won't allow it.
