An elderly Iranian voter residing in Hamedan province, western Iran, passed away only after he cast his vote in a polling station in the ninth parliamentary elections, IRIB reported on Friday. The voter, aged 100 years old, participated in a polling station at Saadat School in Ali Abad city. The 9th Majlis elections since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution officially started across Iran at 08:00 a.m. local time (0430 GMT) on Friday. Turn out has been impressive.
