Denmark: Israel must explain gun-whipping case

Denmark demanded a formal Israeli explanation after an Israeli soldier was filmed assaulting an unarmed Danish activist protesting the ongoing Zionist regime occupation in the West Bank. “We don’t yet know the circumstances surrounding the episode. The Danish ambassador has therefore immediately asked the Israeli authorities for a report,” Danish Foreign Minister Villy Sovndal was quoted saying in a press statement. A video footage showing an apparently unprovoked Israeli soldier assaulting a young Danish activist with his M16 rifle has sparked international outrage. The incident occured over the weekend after 250 mostly-Palestinian activists rode their bicycles in the Jordan Valley in protest of the occupation when they were stopped by Israeli soldiers. According to witnesses, the soldiers hit the activists and destroyed their bicycles during a confrontation. The vicious attack against the Danish peace activist has only further tarnished Israel's image in the world after the Zionist regime cracked down on a mass fly-in of hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters who had hoped to draw global attention to the Israeli atrocities. Hundreds of activists were barred from boarding international flights to Tel Aviv and dozens of others were denied entry after landing.
