Sound Off! (June 5)

The huge fire in the Gila calls to question what kind of job the Forest Service has been doing in managing our national forests. Don t they have people in watch towers anymore who can spot a lighting strike and locate it for quick response teams and contain it? Have logging bans contributed to these conditions? Our politicians need to be asking some tough questions.
