IRI president presenting a proposal to participants at Rio+20 Conference in Brazil, said here Wednesday, “Nations, along with governments based on nations’ votes must have constructive, loving, and responsible participation in world management. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who was speaking at the UN sponsored conference in Brazil added, “The international system and the development planning must both be designed and implemented at the service of the human beings and their material and spiritual exaltation.” Referring to the presence of heads of states in the conference to share viewpoints and exchange experience to construct a better and more beautiful future for their nations and for the world, he said, “In the past we have several times been witnesses to such efforts and today, after the passage of some 60 years we see that the international system and the development planning have failed in achieving their objectives and the world is in need of a new order, a new way, and a new planning.” The Iranian president reiterated, “The widening of the North-South gap and the numerous worries, including the identity and family crisis, the wars, occupations and enmities, the endless arms races and economic crises, the ethical and spiritual crises and in fact failure of the humanist ideologies are all results of the current world order and global planning for international development.” Ahmadinejad added, “Today by reforming the status quo of the world affairs, we must put a remedial ointment on the old wounds of the human society and draw better horizons for the future of the mankind.” The president pointed out that finding the theoretical roots of the present world order would help us in finding a better solution, adding, “Beyond doubt the human being is the axis of creation and any development planning and the entire efforts are in fact aimed at the wellbeing and better life of the mankind; therefore, the type of viewing the people and their social relations is the main basis for the social system and the development planning.” He said that attaching genuine importance to the material aspect of the human beings and ignoring their other aspects, as well as introducing them as individualist, profiteering, and consumptionist, leads to attaching genuine value to achieving pleasure from acquiring benefit and ignoring the ethical and spiritual needs of the human beings. He further reiterated, “If the human beings would be defined as the enemies and the competitors of one another in taking advantage of the circumstances and anyone would in turn defeat the other one and be introduced as the superior, enjoying social priority, and if the theory of survival of the fittest for those who defeat the rest would be the criterion for acquiring better social positions, then the world conditions would be the same as it has been during the course of the past centuries.” The executive force chief reiterated, “This means that some people gain their wellbeing and ease of mind at the price of insecurity, poverty, and miserable lives of the others, and in order to achieve it justify resorting to any possible means; according to them cheating, treachery, and destroying the environment, as well as any other inhumane and unethical move would be permissible, and those who do such things would be considered cleverer, swifter and more successful.” Ahmadinejad reiterated, “In a consumptionist world in the long run colonialist and unprecedented looting of culture, identity, and existence of hundreds of millions of shelterless human beings, and demolishing their personalities, freedom, and rights had prevailed, and we were witnesses to another long period of wars in the world, such as the Korea War, the Vietnam War, the war waged by the Zionists against the Palestinians and the regional nations in Lebanon and Gaza, and also Saddam’s war against Iran and NATO’s against Afghanistan and Iraq, and the wars in Africa and the Balkans and the other parts of the world.” The president then referred to a long period of a special type of economy, life style, systematic looting of the wealth of the nations at the cost of imposing poverty over some three billion human beings and broad destroying of the environment and spread of complicated and difficult to cure diseases and various types of environmental pollutions, which we have been witness to, all under the beautiful and apparently humane mottoes of development and construction, imposed against the human society.” He pointed out that in developing countries it has now been decades that the people and the managers have been trying, but the gaps have remained in place and so have the problems. Ahmadinejad said, “In the present system the minority of advanced countries are regarded as the indexes of development and the majority must do as they do.” The president said that in all these eras and all these events in fact a continuous historic process having roots in seeing oneself superior, materialism, slavery, and colonialism of yesterday, and the hegemonic capitalism of today, is observed. He reiterated, “The entire ruling mechanisms in the world today, inclusive of the political, security, monetary, financial, and even human right issue, act in the same line, and a very limited group that regards itself superior and the others inferior, in order to maintain its hegemony in the world and take unlimited usage of the resources of the nations, keep changing their faces and their mottoes and present new plans.” He posed the question: Which people are benefited from the ruling order and the development planning and for which nations hundreds of unsolvable social problems have remained? Ahmadinejad them reiterated, “Of course there is a small group of development theoreticians who are not after imposing their hegemony, but due to wrong mentalities make mistakes.” President Ahmadinejad emphasized, “Today designing and implementing each program and plan based on the theories of the past would be stepping in the wrong path and in a dead end way.” He asked, “Have the World Trade Organization, the Security Council, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund so far acted successfully so that we would intend to establish a new organization on the same basis, aimed at perfecting them and covering their major deficiencies?” He said that reaching consensus over a definition of the human beings and more precise understanding of them and their social relations, and planning for world development and a new world order in accordance with those concepts is an appropriate solution for the present day problems in the world. He added, “We believe the human being is a multidimensional existence which can by improving his ethical and spiritual qualifications become the vicegerent of God on earth and is therefore monotheist, justice loving, and in pursuit of the sciences, insight, love and beauty in his innate nature.” Ahmadinejad added, “The human being is an infinite existence that ahs been crated for eternity and is always in pursuit of prestige and opposed to self-humiliation.” The president referred to the point that the human life in the world provides for him the opportunity for flight to the peaks of heaven of goodness, reiterating, “in order to achieve perfection and wellbeing the human beings are not only not competitors of one another, but friends, assistants and completing one another, so that the wellbeing of one individual would be no obstacle for the others.” Ahmadinejad pointed out that selflessness and sacrificing for the sake of the others is a sign of the blossoming of the humanity of the human beings and his prestige and sustainability, reiterating, “Love and kindness towards the others and spending greater efforts compared to gaining less in order to let the others be better off are manifestations of the humanity of the human beings and indexes for perfection and grandeur of them.” He said that preserving the environment and assisting society to progress materially and spiritually are among the sign of exalted human life, rationalism, and logical human conduct, reiterating, “No one has the right to destroy the environment which belongs to everyone in which case the entire human beings have been treated unjustly.” Ahmadinejad emphasized that the lives and wealth of the human beings are respectable and no one should think of invading them, adding, “The prestige, freedom, and right to choose freely are the rights of the entire nations and no individual, or organization under not political, or non-political pretexts can deprive such rights; the sciences and knowledge pave the way towards wellbeing and should be at the service of friendship, justice, and ethical values.” The president elsewhere in his address presented some proposals for improving the world conditions, arguing, “In order to improve the world’s conditions we need to review the definition of human being and devise its comprehensive and proper meaning unanimously, and the international system and development planning would be designed and implemented at the service of the human being and his material and spiritual exaltation.” He meanwhile pointed out that in order to reform the world conditions it would be necessary that in the future world order justice and loving would be institutionalized and selfishness and self-pride should be uprooted. He said, “Emphasizing over the nobility of family and the special status of women, as well as the beautiful and heavenly role of mothers are among the other issues that should be heeded in reforming the world status.” The president pointed out that we must consider Almighty God as the unique power that is the Omniscient and Just, reiterating, “He is a well wisher Ruler, who loves the human beings, and so by promoting the ethical values and spirituality, we must replace the power thirty rulers who are gripping the throats of the human beings today with Him.” President Ahmadinejad reiterated, “In order to reform the world conditions the entire nations, and those governments that are based on the nations’ votes must have shared in the world management constructively, feeling responsible, and with love.” He pointed out that today, when the non-linked to sky order after the collapse of the Marxist mentality has reached the end of its path, repeating the past mistakes would be unforgivable and a humane and well wisher world order must be established by fit and competent rulers, and by grace of God that day is close at hand. Ahmadinejad reiterated, “The entire messengers of God (P) have promised that a reformer savior for the entire mankind who would present as gifts to the world people love, and sustainable peace, and he would be accompanied by Jesus Christ (P), exalting the human society under the umbrella of monotheism, justice, and love, and the most beautiful level of life.” The president emphasized, “It would be most fit that in management and planning for development and advancement in our societies we would realize the necessity of having a caring, responsible, and united world, and with a farsighted view over the immense talents of the human beings, and pave the path for their blossoming, thus shortening the way for reaching our ultimate goals, and this is an utmost important responsibility, which the present and future generations call us to heed.
