EU’s Ashton condemns Iran remarks on Israel

The EU foreign policy chief said yesterday that comments by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who called Israel a “cancerous tumour” with no place in a future Middle East, were “outrageous and hateful”.
