Manmohan asks Zardari to speed up Mumbai trial to help normalise ties

Tehran, Aug 30 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh impressed upon Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari today that the expeditious conclusion of the trial of the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai attack would prove to be a major step in the normalisation of relations between the two countries while the other side stuck to its old stance of demanding more evidence to speed up the process.
