Iran says ‘conspiracy’ behind price-rise risk

Iran will defeat a “conspiracy” against its foreign currency and gold markets, an adviser to supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said yesterday, as pressure mounts on authorities to deal with the rapid collapse of the rial.
