Turkey hits up NATO for free missile defense

ANKARA — Turkey has demanded that NATO donate U.S.-origin ballistic missile defense batteries to protect against attacks from neighboring Syria. Officials said the government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan has drafted a request to NATO for the Patriot BMD system.
