US Cancels Conference on Nuke-Free Mideast

The United States says a conference on banning nuclear weapons in the Middle East will not be held because of current conditions in the region. The announcement comes amid a flare up in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza, civil war in Syria and an unsettled political situation in Egypt.
