J. Sheardown, 'Canadian Caper' hero, dies

OTTAWA, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- John Sheardown, one of the Canadian officials who helped hide six American diplomats and spirit them out of Iran in 1979, has died, his son said. He was 88.
