Syria: ICRC president concerned about plight of civilians

Geneva/Damascus (ICRC) – The scale of the crisis in Syria, with millions of civilians affected, is staggering and the humanitarian response insufficient, said the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, at the end of a three-day visit to the country.
