Planting rice seedlings in paddy fields of Gilan prov.

RASHT, May 29 (MNA) – Concurrent with the arrival of spring season, men and women are seen busy in paddy fields of this northern province. Planting rice seedlings is one of the first stage of rice cultivation.

As large as 238,000 ha land area of rice cultivation, Gilan province is the second largest producer of rice in the nationwide.
