1 killed, 21 injured in attack on Afghan military convoy

The incident took place today at 2 pm. local time in the seventh district of Kandahar city.

The blast occurred as Afghan Interior Minister Abdul Sattar Mirzakwa and Wali Mohammad Ahmadzai, the Chief of Army Staff, had traveled to Kandahar province to inspect the security situation.

So far, no groups including the Taliban have claimed the responsibility for the attack.
