Unconfirmed explosion reported in southwest Saudi Arabia

Erem News on Thursday, quoting social media accounts, reported that plumes of smoke could be seen in the sky of the Khamis Mushait region at the same time as the sound of the explosion was heard.

The cause of the blast is yet unknown.

Saudi officials have not commented on the report so far.
