Iran police dismantle 26 narcotics smuggling gangs

As many as 233 smugglers have been detained from the beginning of the Iranian year until now, Yahya Elahi said.

Over seven tons of various narcotics have been confiscated in the operations in the said period, he added.

He further noted that the figure marks a 38 percent hike compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
